Things I am Thankful For

I posted this blog entry on the TalkRadioX website on Thanksgiving. I figured I should add it here as well.

I figure I should make note of some of things I’m thankful for this year, so here goes…

1. Intern Jessica

2. Being able to broadcast 5 nights week, whether anyone wants me to or not.

3. A full schedule of other original and exclusive great talk shows.

4. Sir Darryl lives far away from my wife and my neck.

5. When all else fails you talk endlessly about James Bond.

6. The Two-Tone Studios will be empty soon (I hope).

7. The tempature will go between 50-75 all winter long.

10. A full chatroom.

11. Callers from outside the US.

12. Freekshow.

The Must See Movie of 2009

Forget that Star Trek trailer.  2009 belongs to Black Dynamite!

Not exactly safe for work, btw.

Why do we need Black Dynamite?  Because it’s been 20 years since I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, and that’s long enough.

Fantasy Moguls

Twilight opens this weekend, and while it really does not interest me much seeing a slew of people sleep outside in anticipation of the premiere (which happened yesterday) was pretty amazing.

If you’ve never listened to The Radio Dan Show, and it’s okay I understand why, then you might not be familiar with the game fantasy moguls.  It’s a pretty silly way to pass the time.  Think fantasy football.  Now instead of football players, you’re picking movies.  Like Twilight.  And based how well they do, is how well you do.   Fun times, huh?  Anyone who wants to play should send me an email at dan@talkradiox.com.

Most people in the league I’m in have picked Twilight (I’m no exception) and while the movie means nothing to me it’s always interesting to see others who are busting with anticipation over a movie.  I’m just anticipating the points it’s bring in me.

My Name is Dan and I’m Lazy

In case anyone out there has wondered where the new episodes of The Radio Dan Show are (since I have not posted them here or on my podomatic site) you can get them at TalkRadioX.com.

The new TRX site now has the ability to archive shows and I don’t even have to do anything for that to happen.  Just does it automatically.  And really, all that uploading and what not is a drag anyway.  So in true lazy man style the podomatic site will more than likely not be updated much, if at all.

I will keep it active to host show of special interest, an interview or a theme show.  However for the most part I don’t see any real need to keep it going like it was.

So head over to TalkRadioX.com and hit the TRX On Demand button at the top.  There you will find all the recent episodes of The Radio Dan Show.   You can even subscribe to it.  Imagine that!
