Just What You Need: More Of Me!

Tonight on TalkRadioX, there is a really great line up of shows.  I’m hoping this keeps up because it’s really unique and there’s not a lot of other places offering what we are.

I’ve written about The Freelancer, the in house produced radio drama, before.  Tonight at 10pm EST is another new episode, and in a personal victory it’s the second one in a row, and I’m hoping this catches on.  At least to a certain degree.

Following that is the original radio comedy show, Radio Meatsauce, at 11pm EST.  This has turned out far better than I would have hoped and as long as Arnold and company can keep it up, I’m all for it.

And then at midnight EST, The TRX Weekly Report does it live for the first time.  What was a Talk Soup like-podcast is now a live show that will still feature clips from the previous week from all the different TRX hosts (well, those that submitted them) but will also serve as a broadcasting round table of sorts.  I’m hosting along with Antubert and it should be fun.  Self-indulgent but fun.

The Freelancer delayed due to technical proficiency

Last Thursday (July 3rd) the second episode of The Freelancer should have aired on TalkRadioX.  However the show wasn’t quite ready and rather than rush it on air we decided to hold it back a week.

It’s too bad in a way because I really hope we didn’t lose the small amount of momentum we had with the first one.  Not to mention that your truly actually had a role in this episode dammit.

So hopefully everyone, including you, will join us on Thursday for that episode of The Freelancer.  After all you wouldn’t want to miss my season debut.

Catch The Freelancer tonight at 10pm!

Tonight (Thursday) at 10pm be sure to check out TalkRadioX.com for the debut of The Freelancer, an original radio serial drama.

Right now we have 20 episodes planned.  Every week a new episode will air at 10pm on Thursdays and play through the week.  Right now there is no planned podcast so you’re gonna want to make sure not to miss an episode.

Radio IS Drama

Tonight is Friday which means another edition of Open Mic Night at 10pm and it also means my lovely wife will be slightly annoyed by that.  But annoying her is part of the fun.

It also means the last night, for a while at least, of The Justin Gall Show.  Justin is putting his program on hiatus for the summer and hopes to be back on in the fall.  He’s a really good guy who always shows up on time, does his show, never causes problems.  Hell, TalkRadioX needs more Justin Gall’s rather than losing the one we have.

Also we have the radio drama going on in full production.  The current title for it is Distance, but we may change that before it’s big premiere next Thursday (June 26) at 10pm EST.

So far we’ve had a great turn out and participation for it.  I’m really impressed with it so far.  Right now Antubert has taken the major task of editing it together and adding effects and music.  Definitely the right guy for the right job.

My brother Eric basically has taken a book he wrote (and couldn’t get published) and broken down each chapter into an episode.  The cast is made of generally TRX hosts and other affiliated people.  It’s pretty cool because I’m getting to interact with some people that I normally wouldn’t.
