I need a laptop and fast.

Tomorrow night I am going to attempt to broadcast an open mic night live from a neaby coffeehouse in Coral Springs.   This came about when I went to this coffeehouse two weeks and watched the goings on and thought it might make for some interesting radio for TalkRadioX.  You get poets, bands, harmonica players, poets, comedians or whoever up on a small stage and giving it a shot. 

This debuts on TalkRadioX  at 10pm EST tomorrow (Friday) night.  Only one small problem.  In order to connect to the station I need a laptop.  And I don’t have one.  Jessica has granted me a small budget to get a hold of one and I’m doing my best this week to stick to it.  But so far no soup. 

I’ve been all over Craigslist, checked out Best Buy and Circuit City (looking for the elusive open box deal) but so far I’ve come up with nothing.  I saw a really nice Dell on Craigslist this morning for $350.  Hopefully that guy gets back to me soon.
